First Time Use

A 24-hour test patch is required prior to your first use of Duct Tape.

Test patch instructions:

1. Cut a 5x5 cm piece of masking tape.

2. Apply the cut piece to the area where you are going to use Duct Tape, place it without tension and without stretching.

3. Leave the patch on the area for 24 hours as long as there is no redness or discomfort, in which case remove it from your skin.

IMPORTANT: See removal instructions for proper tape removal.

Slight itching is normal as the skin and hair adapt to cover themselves. If you experience extreme discomfort, itching or pain, safely remove Duct Tape as soon as you can. Excessive stretching and improper removal are the most common causes of skin irritation or blistering.

NEVER pull, tear or rip Adhesive Tape from the skin. ALWAYS remove Adhesive Tape with the help of oil. If you use it for a long period of time, keep in mind that it will be more adhered to the skin.

Chest application

When you first start using this method, we recommend that you are in a quiet, unhurried place. Take your time to understand the process.

1. First, your skin must be clean and fresh, free of lotions or oils.

2. Wash with a non-moisturizing soap; rinse well. Allow skin to dry completely. You may need to trim the hair if it is excessive; do not shave close as it will irritate the skin further.

3. Make nipple covers. NEVER apply Duct Tape directly to the skin of the nipple. ALWAYS use a bandage or make a nipple cover with a short strip of Duct Tape and a square of toilet paper so that the nipple is protected by the paper or gauze preventing the tape from sticking directly to the skin of the nipple. Apply without stretching.

4. Choose the size that best fits your body. Cut all the strips to size, then round the corners with scissors to prevent the edges from bending.

5. Duct Tape will stretch a lot, so start with a shorter piece than you intended. We suggest starting with 3-4 sections (dark blue lines) and adjusting from there. You should only need 2-3 strips per side.

6. Tear the backing paper in half, leaving it attached to its Adhesive Tape. Remove the first section and discard it. Peel off the second section to create a handle so that it does not touch the sticky side, decreasing the adhesive.

7. Visually divide your chest into sections, starting at the center of the collarbone, down through the sternum and then again from the center of the sternum to each shoulder. Keep this area free of tape; this will allow you to wear open shirts and create the appearance of a more masculine chest. Gently place the first 5 centimeters of Tape over your skin and rub lightly to activate the adhesive. Take your time to align the chest tissue so that everything is tucked into the tape.

Push the fabric on your chest until it lies flat, guiding the tape into place. Once you have found a comfortable place for your tape to rest, remove the backing paper and place the tape gently without tension. Rub the Tape vigorously, creating friction to activate the adhesive. You can add an additional piece that goes vertically under the armpit, covering the ends of the strips for added security.

Reminder: comfort is the goal. Make sure you can breathe and move comfortably, if you can't, something was done incorrectly.

Adhesive Tape Removal Take special care when removing Adhesive Tape. Our adhesive was designed to withstand several days of use and withstands activities such as showering, swimming, strenuous activity, exercise, dirt and sweat.

Pour oil over Adhesive Tape and the entire surrounding area until the tape is completely impregnated with oil. Massage the tape and skin to allow the oil to penetrate for approximately 5 to 10 minutes.

With an oil-soaked hand, remove the corner of your Duct Tape, loosening the adhesive with oil as you go. Start on the top layer first and apply more oil as needed. Take your time and be careful. This can also be done in a hot shower of water, to aid in a smoother removal, but always apply the oil.

After removing Adhesive Tape, apply a little more oil and massage the skin. This will replenish lost moisture, strengthen the tissue and increase blood circulation and elasticity.
